The title Se(e) Change operates as both a directive and a condition: to see change and to be changed by
Se(e) Change Studio is the collaborative practice of artists Aaron Thornburg and Michelle Walkey-Thornburg. Through sculpture, installation, objects, and participatory projects, we create work that explores perception, connection, and transformation. We are interested in the ways individuals and communities navigate uncertainty, construct meaning, and imagine new possibilities for relating to one another and the world around them.
Our work invites curiosity, reflection, and engagement. Whether through immersive environments, symbolic objects, or collaborative experiences, we seek to create spaces where familiar assumptions can be reconsidered and where new ways of seeing might emerge. We believe that change begins with attention ,with the willingness to look closely, remain present, and encounter both ourselves and others with openness.
While Se(e) Change represents our shared practice, each of us also maintains an individual body of work shaped by distinct experiences, materials, and concerns. Explore the links below to learn more about our individual artistic practices.
